The Keystone DIvision of the National Model RR Association (NMRA), to which all Mid-Mon Valley Model RR Club members belong, is hosting this one day get together in May 2025. This event is open to the public. Members of the Mid-Mon Valley MRRC will be participating in this event and we highly recommend that all who have an interest in model railroading spend the day with us to learn more about this fascinating hobby. What:
2025 Pittsburgh Model Railroad Jamboree – a one day event (with a second day set up for Jamboree attendees to visit local train layouts)
When:
Saturday May 3, 2025 all day beginning at 8AM
Where:
Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), Boyce Campus, 595 Beatty Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146
Cost:
The admission for this event and optional dinner banquet is spelled out on the official Jamboree flyer (click here). Please pay close attention to the details of registration and payment for this event.
Highlights:
Clinics run all day on a variety of model railroading topics. The modeling contests are where hobbyists display their models, scenes or photography to share their work with others. There will be displays of operating model railroads. Although this event is not a model train sale or show, there will be White Elephant Tables set up where anyone may sell or buy surplus equipment (click here for White Elephant details).
